The definition of patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on negative annoyance/anger; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast.

God has been refining me the last couple of weeks. Not being able to do things on your own or for yourself makes you realize how little patience you have.

A few weeks ago I broke both of my arms and God has been using this time to slow me down. I have had to rely on others more than I ever have before. God has showed me different sides of people that are so pure and sweet that, without this time of suffering I would have not been able to see.

God’s love and grace are so amazingly perfect He always knows how to grow you through others. Slow down and enjoy the people He has put in front of you. He has given us friendship to encourage, love, grow and lean on each other.

I’m grateful for each person that God puts in my path daily. With each one, He will teach us something. Relying on others is hard but if you are patient and still, God will show you why and how you can be patient in a way that will glorify Him.

God is always working so rejoice in the sufferings knowing God has greater things in plan.
