“Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.” Colossians 4:12

It always seems to be a struggle and an ongoing quest. We’re always seeking it and yet in the dead center of it, unable to escape it’s magnetic pull. I’m speaking of God’s will and I can’t count how many times I’ve asked God to just lay out the details for me, especially in times of transition or a crisis. It seems more often than not that God refuses to share the finer details of the mission with us and instead just says “Trust me.”

We believe that it was God’s will for us to come to Belize and we’ve seen Him work in mighty ways since being here. But recently, due to some family health concerns as well as Rachel’s pregnancy, we’ve been led to ask yet again, “God, what is your will?”

After much prayer, we believe that God is moving us to come home sooner than we had originally planned, so we will be returning around May 15th. The decision has left a bitter sweet taste in our mouth. There is so much need here in Belize, and we’ve built some really strong relationships with the kids at KCH, but we’re also happy to return home and uncover God’s will for us there.

Please pray for me as the leader of our family, that I will stand firm in God’s will, mature and fully assured in Him who is faithful beyond measure.
