What I see…?
Stories… in the eyes of each person that walks through the doors on Sunday morning. Every Sunday before anyone arrives I pray for protection, an open heart and open mind, for the energy to do what God has asked, that we be an example of His amazing love to all that come through our doors because we do not know what our families may be struggling with. I thank God for blessing me with volunteers that listen to His call, I thank God for each of the kids and the love and joy they share with their hugs and laughter….the Children’s Ministry is beautiful in its crazy chaos….its about relationships with the kids, the parents and the volunteers. Its about trusting God…. Remember what Derek said last week:
“Pure religion is all about relationships. Our relationship with Christ and our
relationship with others…relationships are messy. But that’s what pure religion is about.
Helping people and seeing people with God’s eyes is never comfortable its never easy…”
The Children’s Ministry does not exist without relationships! Serving as your Children’s Director has been an incredible blessing. Thank you for allowing me to share a part in your story! I hope the video gives you a glimpse into what I see…
