Life passes quickly doesn’t it? It seems everyone comments, “how can it be _______ already”. We have been in this “Campfire Series”, focusing on relationships since Christmas. Deep, meaningful relationships require knowing the other person. Knowing the other person takes time. I usually wake up thinking of my “to do” list, or how I want to spend my time. It takes a conscience prayer to say, Lord, help me be flexible, help me look for ways to spend time with others today.

What does that have to do with Christmas/Easter holidays? Well, it seems in our society Christmas and Easter are season’s people acknowledge God. Maybe they don’t know Him, but they realize, in history, these holidays exist because of Jesus Christ.

Two things I am pondering as Easter is approaching:

1)  How is my relationship with God? How well do I know Him or love Him?

2)   How are my relationships with others? Maybe there is someone this Easter I can love and serve like Jesus would, so they too can get to know Him and come to worship Him.

I Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

Here at The Vine Community Church, we are getting excited for Easter and all God has to teach us through the upcoming series “I AM”.  Personally, I’ve begun praying that God will continue to burden my heart for others and I ask you to join me in praying.  Ephesians 3:14-21
