This week was heavy, but our God is strong. Mom Leonie, the staff/volunteers, and kids have been burdened by sadness the past few days. The home suffered three losses to death. One very grim day in particular, the day we lost one of the babies, “You’re Beautiful” by Phil Wickham continually played in my mind.
I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
In everything, God is beautiful and good. When our mothers and fathers pass, when our sons and daughters pass, when our best friends pass, God is good. God is beautiful. And there is such tremendous peace and comfort knowing that God is always, always good. He reveals himself to us in new ways through different circumstances, and he is good.
We love each of you and are thankful for you!!
1. That the family members of those who were lost would know Christ more intimately and be comforted by him.
2. That our homesickness would be eased.
3. That we would continue to pour the love of Christ onto the home and onto this country.

Belizean Fun Fact:
There are these chips called “Takis” that every kid looooves. They’re a little like hot Cheetos. Anytime someone finds out we’re going into town, they immediately ask, “Can you get me some Takis?!”
